There she met representatives of the Theatre to discuss the European funding that has been received and was taken on a tour of the Theatre by Jim Russell.

Diana Wallis said:

"This is a truly a remarkable facility not just for Richmond and North Yorkshire but also for the whole of Europe. I am delighted therefore that the EU has provided financial assistance to this wonderful building."
